Slope location offers great opportunities. Especially when you look beyond the cookie-cutter approach. Unfortunately, slope locations are always more expensive in construction and also in the design of the outdoor area. Hope your budget is not too tight. We also have a slope location. Living/Dining/Cooking on the middle level. We modeled the plot and thus have a ground-level terrace on this level.

Our budget is 400k for the house. I think that can be done.
Would you possibly have a floor plan?

How big? Exclusive of outdoor facilities and ancillary building costs?

Our floor plan does not suit you. Too large, special, and also over budget. But some things can be implemented on a smaller scale. Your budget for BW is already rather tight (2,500€/m2 including ancillary construction costs). But large earthworks are no longer feasible. Do you want to build with a general contractor?

Several. In the forum search you should find quite a bit with "Hanglage," possibly also with the search term "Saft": because that appears in most related discussions (the argument about having to climb stairs for every glass of juice when you get thirsty in the garden level ...).
