2 years and infant, yes toys are currently planned to be in the living room as long as the kids are small (the little one still has a bit of time anyway :D) we currently have it like that too and the living-dining room is even smaller.

The original poster has a living area of 55 sqm... we have that too.., most have between 36 and 50 for the LIVING AREA... about 15-20 sqm of that go to the living room. Which group do you belong to?

That is why we keep saying here, and now to you again for the umpteenth time: draw in your furniture, otherwise there can be no constructive criticism! Whoever needs 29sqm for the kitchen then only has 30 for the rest! And actually everything is quite different, isn’t it?

I would take one meter from the kitchen to have more space in the dining area.
