Did you plan with an architect or [GU]?
Wood stud?

With architect/structural engineer, we are building solid stone on stone, we do the structural work entirely ourselves and subcontract the trades we do not do ourselves.

Then I understand the planning even less.

For us, it is similar to a huge L-shaped concrete block. Floor slab and back wall connected with tons of steel from waterproof concrete. The back wall holds back the slope. Below is the main garden and above behind the house, also at ground level, there will be a terrace. (Vielleicht noch dieses Jahr, mal schauen) Apart from the morning, there is only sun where it comes over the house, further up in summer. The 5 meters could be tight there.
