The carport is planned north of the front door (according to the development plan it is also allowed in the setback area to the neighbor), the second parking space in front of it towards the street.
I’m not sure if the house shape is ideal for the plot.
The carport should also be drawn in, because a carport "next to" the entrance could become very tight. A parking space in front of a carport might only be practical on weekends.
I find the door there very practical, because otherwise we have to give our groceries a tour of the apartment every time before they end up in the fridge or pantry.
But then there are too many doors to open to get to the kitchen. That should be planned with a direct door.
The corridor between the utility rooms is useless. There are now 3 storage units alongside each other connected by a corridor.
Upstairs there is a missing storage room.
That is planned way too complicated.
I’m afraid there was just some extra space "left over" when planning... That’s why this is also one of my "what don’t I like" points.
You could easily cut about 20 sqm. That’s just a feeling.
I also find it visually unusual, while my wife likes it...
Yes, of course it doesn’t look so boring and plain like other designs that are planned for economy.
I warn you: even here there are always projections and bays discussed that get wet. It’s always about a lot of money and warranty claims. I wouldn’t want to put up with that, and I would omit at least 3 of 4 unnecessary corners.
Otherwise everything is very complicated, and complicated things do not make you happy.
What is going in the wrong direction here?
Location of children’s rooms in the layout – they belong in the south or west if possible.
Too many corridors, too much traffic area.
Walk-in closet is bad.
Roof terrace is unnecessary.
Home office location is unfortunate – you have almost no contact with the family there (HO is working time, not kids’ time, but what about private use and childcare?)
Zoning of the plot is questionable
