May also be more "flat" in itself, but can still make something great out of a slope ....I think the architect is then more in demand than with flat, not everyone can do that.
We have largely built single-story with a +1 gallery and a -1 house connection room partly into the slope, partly with the slope, and partly protruding from the slope. Sounds wild, but looks very harmonious and is excellent to live in. Cost-optimized in terms of square meter prices, admittedly, can be done differently.
...the first 2 architects did not awaken the hoped-for spark of hope in me that this slope can be developed 'economically'.

The rough idea is to build a basement with living space at the front and about 100sqm of living space on top.
The basement is to be excavated into the slope to keep the earth removal as low as possible.
The architects say the building ground is not particularly load-bearing, but the soil report actually says something different and I also do not want to build "heavy" on it.
However, this construction project without the land price is (still) not worth 600,000 EUR to me.
