The village currently consists of about 200 houses, now 25 new ones are being added, but you are right there is quite a lot of photovoltaic... but no idea what the reason is. I don't know of any additional local subsidies in Bavaria... but it would be good for our planned construction :)

There was or is the 10,000 Houses Program in Bavaria. Over 10 years ago, there must have been something as well. Some people here also installed photovoltaics on barns and such. Maybe just a solar installer calculating good returns and selling it to people.

Is there local funding or is it an eco-showcase village?

Just smart people who can do the math.;) There is the C.A.R.M.E.N. funding in Bavaria for storage systems.

Great, you are already working on something. I am waiting for the building permit. Have you already received your building permit?

The property is currently only "fully" developed... everything else will follow. No, the agreed appointments with the architect and construction companies will all take place starting in January... provided that Corona allows it. The final survey of the property by the municipality is also still pending or has been postponed to the beginning of next year. Then, on our part, the exact survey of the elevation will follow so that we know what we can/must do with the slope.

In the south, there isn't as much crappy weather as you have up north ;) . It's simply worthwhile there and about 10 years ago there was the big photovoltaic boom. Anyone who still had equity installed one of those because the return was guaranteed by the state.
