Hello,

thank you for the hint.
So I also directly consulted with the NRW.Bank by phone because I had lost the overview on such matters.

The fact is that I am building a KfW 60 energy-saving house, as stated in the building description, and I will receive a thermal insulation certificate according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2002.

Now about the Energy Saving Ordinance 2007 and the newly introduced KfW 70 efficiency house.
This is worse than the KfW 60 house despite the new regulations. It means that if I build a KfW 70 house according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2007, I will receive no funding from the NRW.Bank and no funding from the KfW bank.

But if I build a KfW 60 house according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2002, I will be subsidized based on the overall building structure and energy savings.

Sounds somehow crazy :eek: but that seems to be the case.
I don’t hold it against the builder about the B25 or C25, I myself also work with many templates from the previous year—who wants to create a new test report every year anyway :) but I will talk to him about it, thanks for the hint.

Or did I misunderstand on the phone? That a newer regulation is worse than one from 2002?

But the thing with the domestic hot water tank is definitely too small, I just did the calculations, it will definitely need at least a double-sized tank.

Best regards

PS:

Thank you very much for your hints and criticisms, hope for more.

So,

it’s time, we have the final construction contract with the final construction description and the payment plan.

This week I was still with my developer and we incorporated the changes into the construction description. We even went pretty much into detail to my delight since we have a heat pump as the heating type and have also fixed the brand (Vaillant). Vaillant offers good products.

Monday will be stressful: first an appointment at the bank, their house architect will look over the plans and give his approval, then the financing will be signed and after the bank appointment the signature on the construction contract.

I’m already a little nervous and sleepless ^^

We have concluded the financing conditions as follows

65,000 equity
102,000 Wfa funds at 0.5% interest over 10 years (application in progress)
150,000 house bank at 4.36% interest

I deliberately left out the KfW bank with 4.2% because the granting of funds is tied to many regulations and the payment modalities are somewhat ancient (quarterly).

Best regards

PS:

What convinced us about the developer was that we looked at his reference properties and the residents there willingly gave us information about him and we were even able to take a look at the house.

uiuiui:p,

since last night construction contract / construction description / payment plan signed.

Now it’s getting serious. ^^

Does anyone know a good so-called construction blog where I can report on progress or even problems, preferably a blog with the possibility to upload pictures.

Somehow I sleep more peacefully after signing than before :D

You’ll have to do it yourself.
A blog is something where you report yourself - like in our construction blog.
Otherwise, you’re better off in the forum.
If you just need a simple blog system where you can blog without much effort, then use Wordpress or Blogger.com.
There are certainly other services as well.
Many photos can be managed well via flickr.
We use the free Joomla CMS for our blog. But that is a bit more complicated until it runs smoothly.
I would find it nice if you do something like that and stick with it until the end. It is also an additional burden. Unfortunately, many construction blogs die out already in the shell phase.

yeah I wanted to write it all myself anyway.
we'll see, it will either be a blog or a homepage. I'll start with it tonight after work.
