Hello everyone,

We will (hopefully) start with the renovation / renewal of our house next year.
In most points, we are already sure about what we need or want.

Our sticking point at the moment, for which we have not yet found a really good solution, is our kitchen.

Our current kitchen
- hardly has any workspace
- is also a dressing area
- houses the door we use most often (we use the main front door much less because the cars park closer to the kitchen)
- has a beautiful window directly to our neighbors' terrace, so they can look in on us and we can admire the adornment of physical grace in the summer

I have brought four types of plans:
1. Original - current state ground floor
1.1 Original - current state kitchen
1.2 Original - current state bathroom

2. Option 1
2.1 Option 1 kitchen
2.2 Option 1 bathroom

3. Option 2
3.1 Option 2 kitchen
3.2 Option 2 bathroom

4. Option of our architect, with whom we ended cooperation due to lack of trust...

Currently, I prefer Option 1.
With this option, we would have to move some doors; however, you would no longer have to walk through the entire kitchen after coming in.
The new front door on the right side would then lead to our terrace, which we would find very nice (yes, at the moment the bathroom ventilates onto the terrace...).

Maybe you have some better ideas for us that we haven't thought of yet due to operational blindness?

Thanks in advance :)

So that you can better imagine it, I am attaching views of the terrace, kitchen door, and overall shots.

hm, could you please set the overall house variants 1 and 2 again instead of Var1 and Var2, which are identical to the kitchen variants Var1 and Var2?

Why are the guests coming from the other side?

EDIT:
Why does the bathroom have a shower?

The guests come from the other side because the street side is on the left in the plan and they then come to the front door. Our cars park in the driveway, which is accessible via a separate access road. This driveway is then at the bottom right in the plan and thus significantly closer to the kitchen door than to the "front door". The bathroom has a shower because it is our second bathroom. Good point, thanks, something important is still missing from us here: We are 6 people (38, 38, 8, 7, 2, 2). Hence also the two benches for dressing. Regarding the overall ground floor plans: I can do it, but according to the current planning, nothing changes in the room layouts on the ground floor. They remain in the rest of the ground floor as in the original plan.

But it makes it easier to get the overall impression ;)

What do you want? What are you aiming for? Variants are fragmented in the views... you can't see what belongs together... but I am also looking for the objective and the need, why you want to remodel. The neighbor’s views probably aren’t the reason?!
What confuses me most are these changing room benches
