I completely agree with my predecessor regarding the use of the dining area and the desired brightness there. However, not with the rest.
We don't always have summer and long nights of sitting outdoors; rather, the sun will mostly set directly in the west, but in winter it will already set in the southwest.
And then you always have those 2/3 meters of this roof overhang in view when you look out onto the terrace from this window. You probably won't see the sky but the wooden enclosure under the roof. It feels very dark and uncomfortable.
So personally, I would take the smaller variant (rain mostly comes from the west side, and you can also put up a cardboard wall there ) and on the west side of the house, on the left side of the plan, a floor-to-ceiling double window instead of the two small single windows. You don't need a window behind the sofa, and that way the dining area would be somewhat brighter.
