Renovation of old building floor plan division - kitchen solution sought

The water pipes all run through the guest bathroom / kitchen and come from the basement. Marked on the basement plan attached.

Laying the terrace would certainly be technically possible. I suspect, however, that I will fail here because of my better half, for whom this terrace is a sanctuary...

Addendum: I’ll take note of the point about moving the terrace. It might actually be the easier option because we want to renew the terrace surface anyway, so we would save ourselves the effort of moving the door. Your option fits very well with the space in the current children's room and future study, I just measured it...

Just so there are no misunderstandings. I did indeed move the door to the wide window, where I hope for a sufficient lintel with the appropriate height. Otherwise, in my opinion, you enter through the kitchen. That would be an emergency solution again, or did I get that wrong?

No, I misread. Thanks for the hint! Then the door exit would cover one of the basement windows (bottom of the plan). But that's not a big deal, because the basement is artificially lit anyway. I don't think that's going to be an obstacle :)

It would be helpful if you posted the original plans (in floor plans and sections) instead of your redrafts and got used to the German flag in the plans (existing black, new red, demolition yellow). Too many significant detailed information are lost in redrafts of actual conditions. Moreover, I find it confusing to imagine a new everyday entrance in a monochromatically combined plan through the existing sink.

That I am also assisting with the search for an architect, I now assume is known, as well as my contact method. However, interesting for the local "public" discussion would be where and at what point the "chemistry" with the previous architect failed. By the way, his service phase 1 should actually have included the inventory (measurement or inspection of building files), which would have provided the discussion with a useful basis.
