We fear that the actual storage room will be too small for us. I grew up without a guest WC and wouldn't actually need this room either. Overall, the rooms in the new apartment are indeed smaller. But in the end, there are more rooms. Storage space would be important to us. I don't really like the layout of the bathroom. We have tried a bit of "experimenting"

I thought you were already living in this condo, or am I misunderstanding something? Which other rooms? Is it a different floor plan/apartment? Such a renovation as planned would involve considerable costs and a long period of dirt and mess, and besides, I don’t see the expected benefit. A guest toilet is often a selling point for potential buyers because it is an absolute plus. When I built my house back then, I cut the guest toilet to get a bigger bathroom... what a fool I was. It could no longer be changed because the pipes were laid at that spot. I think you should describe your intention a bit more in detail; I still don’t quite understand why minimal gain in storage space should justify a bathroom renovation with the loss of the guest toilet.

No, the apartment was ready for occupancy in 2022, a "new build apartment," the guest toilet would still be there, just smaller.

The dryer / washing machine could therefore also be accommodated without any problems in the "larger storage room" in the small kitchen we definitely cannot fit everything...

Sorry, in my opinion you should describe your project a bit. Can you still design everything freely? What are your preferences, previous ideas, since suddenly the washing machine also appears as a parameter. So far, I find it difficult to say something sensible about it. Your shower should have a door, because with a length of 1m the water will run out. WCF opposite the door should be avoided if possible, because there are nicer first views. Bathtub size sufficient? Shower possibly dark.

In my post I have attached two files. One is the complete floor plan and our "room change" or idea. The washing machine is also visible in the floor plan. We don't really like the bathroom planning. So far no one has had ideas but rather something to complain about... The responsible specialists and the construction manager can certainly give us some tips. Special requests etc. should be communicated promptly.
