I would probably first clarify with the responsible parties which adjustments would be possible regarding necessary cables/pipes. That would probably clarify a few things already. Maybe you should also clarify among yourselves how the showering habits are, do you want a large shower or rather a large bathtub, how much space for a mirror cabinet, sink. Various things can possibly be adjusted. Apparently there is no laundry basement, right? As already mentioned here, more storage space in exchange for bathroom square meters would be inappropriate. 1 sqm more in the bathroom is valuable, the same area in the storage room can certainly be represented differently, for example cellar, garden shed, etc. As I see it, there are 2 children's/guest rooms, exactly for that reason I would never give up this deliberately chosen equipment variant; for me, you are rather downgrading the apartment by doing so.

1.60m for the bathtub is, I think, too short. Standard dimensions also only start at 1.70m, right? Is the bathroom really planned that narrow by the developer? Otherwise, I don't think your new bathroom layout is bad for fitting everything in. I could imagine that technology such as the fuse box or heating circuit distributor is also planned in the storage room, then swapping rooms will probably be complicated to impossible. How about placing the washing machine and dryer in the guest bathroom instead of the shower?

The floor plan is actually planned that way. We do not want to do without the shower. If there is space for it in the main bathroom, it would also be an option to have the washing machine in the guest bathroom. The rooms actually have the same dimensions throughout the entire building. "The tight living space"...

I quickly checked with Reuter and there is indeed a large selection of 1.60m bathtubs, so at most too tight for bathing two people together. Then I would stick with the floor plan from #13. Only the sink doesn't appeal to me on the shower wall; I would rather place it on the long wall so that everything is in one row. 1m for the shower is already very generous; we currently have 80cm, which is fine. Then you would have a few extra cm for the sink. Why is the pre-wall in the shower planned with 32cm? Edit: ah, I saw it in the floor plan, is there a shaft? It is unfortunate that the toilet is opposite the door, but I fear this compromise must be made. Do you have a sliding door planned there? I have the feeling that they don't close as well as regular doors.

So we went with the second plan. We are not experts... I'm grateful for any advice. I am also happy to receive suggestions for the actual planning. The shower is 90x90 in the original plan. We have a sliding door in our current apartment bathroom. Never again!
