I don't understand the idea, what is it supposed to achieve? Supposedly 80cm more space in the storage room? Fewer fart noises in the living room? I do believe it could work, the shafts are all within "installation range", but you gain nothing from it except costs and effort.

I always like to remodel if it brings advantages, but I don't really see a big advantage here except for a slightly larger storage room. I sacrifice important living space (here bathroom) to gain a basement room? I would rather be glad that I have this comfort as it is. Rent an additional basement room? Small, dry garden shed? Throw stuff away-

Yes, especially since there is already a storage room. If there was nothing at all. But like this?! Then I would rather shrink the bathtub bathroom a bit...
