I always like to remodel when it brings advantages, but I don't really see a big advantage here except for a slightly larger storage room. Am I sacrificing important living space (here the bathroom) to gain a basement room? I would rather be glad to have this comfort as it is. Rent an additional basement room? Small, dry garden shed? Throw stuff away-
We both grew up without a guest toilet. My husband would like the living room to be a bit larger. His suggestion was to reduce the guest toilet by half. I don't think it really frees up that much more living space. The garden shed idea is a good one. Yes, and we definitely need to declutter!
The idea is nice, but it doesn't work. I think the main reasons for this have already been mentioned. If you dislike the layout so much that you want to change everything, another apartment would be an option.
This is currently the cheapest on the market... We don't want to wait any longer. Of course, the apartment requires some compromises...
