Dear forum, after we allowed ourselves a bit more "dough resting time," we are now asking ourselves about the optimal positioning of our house on the plot, especially considering the orientation of the neighbors. We have plot no. 9 (parcel 929). Parcel 949 is a garbage bin storage area (completely oversized with 30 sqm) for 3,4,5,6. This is a dead-end (planned street B), hence the garbage storage area is with us. Number 6 will be a 9.30m high gable roof semi-detached house with ridge direction west-east. As a result, three floor-to-ceiling windows will face directly onto our property. In front of this house, there will be a garage with a 2-meter distance to our property (actually 3 meters, but apparently 2 meters were approved). The house wall thus begins after approximately 5.50 meters. Number 10 in the south will be a bungalow with a garage directly adjoining our property (fairly central, as there is a five-meter-long driveway in front). We are asking ourselves how to position the house in the best possible way to avoid a pronounced feeling of tightness. Simply as narrow as possible in order to have as much west garden and distance to the neighbor's house in the west? Or rather so that we have a south garden, then looking at the neighbor's garage wall?
