Our plasterer recommended that we completely fill, sand, and then spray paint the concrete ceilings.
He would do that... The plasterers apparently apply some kind of spray filler, smooth it out, sand it (twice), and then the ceiling is as smooth as car paint. The plasterer has already done TOP work for us... The plaster really looks very good. We are currently still waiting for the offer for this.
But roughly, what do you think? Does something like this cost significantly more than having the painter wallpaper the ceilings completely with painter’s fleece? Or if yes, how much more should something like that cost (percentage-wise)? Has anyone had experience with this?
He rather advised against the painter’s fleece because he said that you often see air bubbles through it, shadows appear, and it just isn’t 100% clean.
On the wall, we will definitely apply a proper roller plaster directly onto the gypsum ourselves.
