Ok, that sounded exactly the other way around. However, Malervlies alone is not enough, you still need to put paint on it. At the painter's, that will cost you about the same amount extra. Even if you want to do it yourself, good paint costs money, bad paint just means a lot of work and nerves.
No, it was also about what Malervlies costs extra, I also named the price. We don't do anything on our own. Our construction decoration team (that's what they call themselves) perform the following services:
-Painter's scaffold, ETICS, fire protection strips, reinforcement + topcoat including primer, leveling, exterior
-Wood cornice glaze... so all exterior work on the house
-Interior: primer, corner protection rails, APU strips, mesh in crack-prone areas, installation slots, gypsum plaster, cement plaster in the bathroom, filling ceiling joints (concrete ceiling)
-Drywall work
-Painting work: deep primer, filling to Q3, Malervlies, dispersion paint (1900€): For the complete painting work we pay 8,500€ net
