Can I apply any random dispersion paint on a roll plaster, or do you have to use a "special" paint here?

I don't know if any, but I think yes.
For now, we only have white; the paint will be applied to some walls in the spring. But first, the furnishing had to be finished.
In the old house, I had such paint that can be smudged. That worked without any problems.

We are currently facing the same question, even though our decision can wait until (at least) summer. Since we can do little ourselves, we also first thought of woodchip, which is included as standard by our prefabricated house builder. But, :-) it seems there are also other textured wallpapers that can be applied on Q2 and, in my opinion, look good whether colored or not. I assume that applying these textured wallpapers does not cost significantly more than applying woodchip, but I cannot say for sure yet. Please keep us/me updated and if you like, you could maybe also post some pictures of your Q2 and further progress. I really find it very unfortunate that Q2 varies so much and thus no binding recommendations for non-experts like me are possible.

The installation itself should even be less effort, since textured wallpaper, with pre-soaking etc., seems more complicated to me than pasting the wall and sticking the strips on. However, non-woven wallpapers are usually more expensive than textured wallpaper. My [GÜ] wanted to charge me a lot for that.

I fully agree with you. I am really looking forward to the interior plaster... I can also provide pictures on this by the middle of next week. I hope it is so clean that we can easily apply a roller plaster on it.

Yes, especially physically. There is simply more mass on the roller.

That's how we did it. The second person also goes over the large area with a finishing roller to distribute everything a bit more evenly.
