Looking for floor plan suggestions for a semi-detached house

There are, for example, regions in Germany where the price of land is so high that the dream of owning a house can only be realized in this form. But there may also be very personal reasons – perhaps trivial to you – behind this decision. A personal judgment is definitely inappropriate and disrespectful here.

Which floor plan did you choose? Or don’t you have one yet?

We have not yet decided on a construction partner. We tend towards an architect. Alternatively, architect phases 1-5 and general contractor phases 6-9. So far, we have only found one architect who would build our floor plan. However, the price is 30-40k over budget. All others want to first create their own design. I am still unsure whether the lighting conditions in the living room and the children's room are sufficient. The attic also needs more roof windows, which means additional costs. Difficult, difficult. We will commission the architect next week and see where the journey goes.
