You can find the house-building schedule on bauen-jetzt, and there in the construction dictionary the dough resting time is also explained. My posts on the search term "Gerddieter" you can find here via the forum search with the option "written by: 11ant". There is nothing to translate there, I only write in German (the market for English comedians is too small for Mr. Oettinger and me). When, why, and how one should possibly deviate from the house-building schedule is also explained here in the posts under the keyword. Very briefly summarized: on the paths that the layman considers clever, you can unbelievably score own goals as high as towers. Regarding the first part, I am also at a loss and ask for clarification. I suspect you have found a "prefab" builder who has obtained a type approval (?) Whoever on the basis of the building application drawings organizes a minimal narrow-gauge ladder-notreallypublic tender pays in the end – that is including the “saved” tender costs! – several tens of thousands more than if he had tendered professionally. That’s why I said, involving the general contractor in tenders is good, but instead of tendering to the general contractor is bad.

I don't really know what we should advise if you are not yet "done with the thought"... You are just not ready to decide or let go yet.
When you read these prices, you can imagine what the additional electrical work or simply nicer corner moldings in the bathrooms cost – namely not little.
We paid 0€ for additional windows.

The requirement often only arises with the planning of an open kitchen.

I don't have the whole thread in mind anymore, but renovating or modernizing an existing house also costs more than just a round of beers for friends.
You have to calculate everything carefully…

Well, a challenging plot might require a special design. I have plenty of space and no special requirements, so I tend to have a standard design implemented that already comes with a building row certification.

Or you adjust the wishes to the budget, then the amounts mentioned are also sufficient. If you can do everything yourself, you can certainly get great outdoor facilities for 20,000. It doesn’t have to be paving for 40 euros/sqm, there are nice options for 10 to 15 euros as well. The carport may come later, etc. Also, with the sampling, depending on the construction service description, you can get by with that. Then the bathroom initially just has the standard toilet and washbasin. You can quickly and easily replace them in a few years when there is a bit more money.

Sure, you can switch to something cheaper. But you are a bit optimistic about the price; I would be very surprised if you find 8cm concrete pavers for 10€ anywhere, and even 15€ would be a real stroke of luck, even in standard gray without extras. Besides, that's only part of the cost; the substructure is still needed. And ultimately, you don't save much with the cheapest possible pavers. 100sqm of paving area is quite a lot; it's enough for a terrace, paths, driveway, and double carport. At 20€ instead of 40€ per sqm, that's only 2000€ total. In the context of building a house, that's really not much, and this paving will last you 50 years. I would rather save those 2000€ elsewhere.

I'm not saying that everything has to be expensive either. I just want to warn against convincing yourself at the beginning that the cheapest will do and then realizing later that it doesn't. Personal experience. When I look at the calculations I made back then for the outdoor areas...
