You have absolutely misunderstood that.
It was written: "All of this falls into these 4.5%, which from my point of view still seem reasonable when considering the inflation, which is also above 4%."
What is meant is that inflation is almost as high as the actual price adjustment! Normally we talk about adjustments with a factor of 3 and up, ergo his 4.5% are good, as they should actually be well over 10/12%, which in turn confirms my collected price adjustments of recent months.
Therefore, I don’t need to comment on the rest of your argument :)

to the OP, as already clearly written by the industry professionals, why and for what reasons, and his tone was not particularly well received there either. None of the laypeople would comment on that in the mentioned forum, because none of the laypeople answering here work in the industry.

Answer from the professionals
exto, what exactly is so terrible about the dealer’s behavior?

There are major price increases coming. Most will come in the kitchen sector with the new price lists from October, some at the turn of the year. Unlike the last years with small, well-predictable increases, this time a significant increase is coming to the dealers.
Kitchens often have a long lead time, so a dealer sells many kitchens before the price adjustment and orders after the price adjustment. He has to plan this financially.
Two options are available. Either he reserves the right to a subsequent price increase or he already includes a projected increase now.
I find the latter better, but not all dealers see it that way.

At least in your case he is looking for a way to still order the kitchen under the old conditions – you should approve of that, it is in your interest.

and

Furthermore, it is actually the case with many manufacturers that items ordered this year and received by the end of February will be charged at '21 conditions. Everything after that at '22 conditions.
Your dealer has explained that fairly and transparently and I see no problem. Just take the kitchen earlier and store it yourself if you are not willing to accept the price increase (which the dealer also has to pay). Or buy elsewhere.

Apart from that, the OP bragged about how cheap he got the kitchen at the purchase closing in both forums, it was supposed to be a bargain. So the 4.5% should not hurt him at all.

here is the exact wording from Ext
Because we believe we got a MEGA bargain!

Some never get enough, stinginess is cool ...

Interesting is the argumentation from the professional side. It is stated what I considered logical - without being an expert.

However, I dislike the harshness in tone:
- under all criticism…
- Stinginess is cool…
That is never constructive.

I understand the irritation from the customer’s point of view. This is independent of whether one believes to be getting a particularly good price.
However, this irritation could have diminished over the course of clarification attempts (also in the forums).
The insistence, despite otherwise top conditions and good planning performance and excellent service, on not wanting to break out of the irritation, irritates me in turn.

Midge -> elephant, to put it pointedly
(the discrimination of Foren11anten is not included)

Yes. And? I had addressed the fundamental sharpness in tone. I don’t think that will help.

To me, it read as if you meant the answer to him from a professional standpoint. I must have been mistaken, sorry.
