Quartz stone has already been mentioned. From my point of view, it is the best compromise of all. Ceramic is also very good, but it's also very expensive and, if in doubt, somewhat more susceptible to impact damage because it is brittle.
We inquired about quartz stone and ceramic, we would need a total of 5.4 sqm.
Quartz stone costs €3900 and ceramic €5900.
Quite hefty prices.. And our kitchen studio only credits €500 for the removal of the standard countertop.
I am torn, because only ceramic would be an option for us. It really is great..
