What is there not to understand about the statement from KfW??? You can already use planning and consulting services before your application.

What is unclear to me is whether these planning and consulting services are eligible for funding if concluded before 1.7., or if they are merely non-detrimental to the housing subsidy.

As planning services, only the costs for the energy consultant are eligible for funding at 50%, right? So the planning and construction supervision.

Good morning dear house building forum,

we wanted to sign our new KfW40+ contract with a prefabricated house provider this coming Saturday.

Yesterday, by chance, I stumbled upon this post and was completely stunned. We are firmly counting on the current subsidy for two residential units, so the full 2x €37,500.

Here it says that you are not allowed to sign a contract with the house provider before the application has been submitted to the KfW and also approved. This was confirmed by a 4-minute video on YouTube directly from the KfW. None of the prefabricated house providers told us this, and until the very end, we were about to sign with several of them!

How is this supposed to work? The energy consultant comes from the house provider and is included in the fixed price. How am I supposed to “almost” finish planning a house BEFORE signing the contract with the prefabricated house provider, so that their energy consultant can calculate it sufficiently for the KfW? No company would agree to that!

Since the last post here was quite a while ago, I would be very interested to know if there are any updates. If not (which I assume), maybe someone could describe their approach with and at the prefabricated house provider. I don’t know how to explain this to our guy? Clearly, it’s also somehow his fault for not knowing this, but that doesn’t help anyone now.

I’m grateful for any info.

Best regards

It can't be that others here don't have the same problems ?

If not, please tell me how you solved it with your home provider...
