Why these differences exist I do not know either, but from July onwards there will only be the new [KFW] funding. Until then, [BAFA] from 2020 and [KFW] funding until 06/21 are still available.

Allegedly, there is the possibility to deduct the heating system from the eligible costs for the [BEG]. Until 30.06. you can apply for KFW153, afterwards only the new programs. A mix of the old program and removing the heating there to then have this part subsidized as EE from 01.07. onwards is not possible. You can apply for your construction project with KfW exactly once: either everything under the old program or everything under the new program.

If I understand correctly, the BMWI has changed the procedure regarding the new funding starting from 1.7.

Although funding applications for BEG WG and BEG NWG can only be submitted from 01.07.2021 onwards, delivery and service contracts with construction companies or craftsmen can already be concluded now for measures for which funding under BEG WG and BEG NWG is to be applied for from 01.07.2021 (including the improved funding of energy-efficient new buildings using heating systems based on renewable energies as so-called "EE classes") after a documented consultation with a financing partner of KfW, without this having a negative effect on the funding. Proof of this documented consultation must include information on funding conditions and requirements as well as on the amount of funding and the integration of this BEG funding into the potential credit business.

In this way, the incentive effect of the funding offer of BEG WG or BEG NWG is documented. Following the documented consultation, corresponding delivery and service contracts with construction companies, suppliers, and trades can then be concluded without a loan funding application needing to be completed at this time. I understand it to mean that one can already conclude a contract currently and then submit the application as of 1.7.
The general contractor we want to build with has included a corresponding formulation in our contract with a suspensive condition. The formulation corresponds 1:1 to a template from BMWI.
