For now, your consideration might be correct. But you are committing yourself. You buy Sat once and then it runs for free (unless you absolutely want the private channels in HD).
If your Entertain provider raises prices, then you pay that. If they raise them again, then also. If the channel lineup is changed, your favorite channel might be removed. If the price for the internet goes up, then you need another provider who also offers TV in the scope you want – or you pay. If you sell your house, some will frown (yes, it can be retrofitted, but it costs more if there are no cables/conduits/roof connections).
