We also installed satellite, a total of 7 participants (double in the living room, bedroom, 2x children's rooms, office, guest). Currently, only one satellite receiver is connected in the living room. The TV in the bedroom can't even do satellite, I would need another receiver for that.
Overall, we watch regular TV for about 1 or 2 hours per month, whether that will ever change is questionable. If so, it would be because of Sky, which I currently use via Sky Go on the FTV.
I thought about whether to have it installed for a long time, now I wonder if I could have saved myself that. However, it is also about the resale value for me. We have already given up the classic Telekom connection, only Kabel-D came into the house for internet + telephone.
For us, the matter is settled, but I can understand anyone who forgoes it. If children come along, they will only grow up with Netflix & Co anyway, they will certainly no longer be interested in linear TV. For ourselves, it probably doesn't pay off, whether that will ever change?!
