Is a garage interior depth of 570 cm sufficient for future cars?

Thank you for your numerous responses. I am not concerned about the width or the remaining garage size, but as mentioned at the beginning, only about the depth/length. I can manage with everything, only the 570 cm interior depth will be tight but doable, as far as I can tell. Attached is a sketch.

Pretty tight, the lower car has to drive in forwards, the upper one backwards if the driver wants to get out through his door, and then maybe the stroller can get through without scratches, but not from the back for loading. Car with mirrors about 2.20m and they are getting wider.

Yes, very humorously planned: the aisle next to the cars ends before you get past the cars ;-)

We have 5.5m inside and a length of 5.6m, the new Smax fits just right. The second small car is always parked reversed in the garage. Bicycles hang on the wall. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do more because of the distances. But at least 1m on each side would be heavenly.

I don’t know why you are so pushy with your two posts, because I make an effort to describe everything as thoroughly as possible and gather opinions. Your posts are not helpful like that, sorry. I would also prefer a bigger garage, but as I said, I have to comply with the floor area ratio etc., so it is a compromise of width, depth and a small storage room.

You mean width 5.5m and length/depth 5.6m? That’s then similar to mine (5.7m length x 5.3m inside width). Could you maybe take a photo and show how it looks, or send it to me via PM? (Make license plates unrecognizable). Can you still load the SMAX in the back in the garage if you park it all the way forward?

You come in from the right? 70cm passage width is quite tight if there is a wall on one side. That is less than the width of a normal door passage. You must not hang anything on the walls, otherwise it will not be enough. No winter tires, ladder, etc. Also, this assumes that you always park well. Once 20cm too far forward and your pants get dirty.

Does a car have a trailer hitch? Then you can easily add 30cm extra to the length.

What do you do when you have luggage? Groceries, sports bag, something like that. Carry it once around the garage or unload in front of the garage and carry it through?

I see two ways to improve this:
1. Close the garage completely on the right and always enter through the left gate. Then you can also hang something on the wall if you want. But you always have to walk around the garage.
2. Replace the garage with a carport. Since you have no walls, 20cm in front and back are not critical. Possibly the saved square meters can then also be used for a little more width.
