Thank you for the 2 reviews. I already suspected the screws because of the Siemens video, but it’s good to know that you can leave out the mat.

Has anyone here actually successfully installed a three-part front with the VÅGLIG connecting rail on a BSH XXL dishwasher with Vario hinge?

Does it fit out of the box, does it require modification, or is it not possible at all?
Unfortunately, my dishwasher Neff GX661 (S72M65X8EU) is not here yet, and I can't try it out...

Where exactly does it say that?

Further up it only mentions flat iron for connecting the fronts, and not VÅGLIG.

I actually meant whether the VÅGLIG connecting rail already has suitable holes for mounting on the dishwasher door, or whether the rail blocks the space for the fastenings.

That is not possible. The front only has a few millimeters of space to the dishwasher. The only possible solution would be to pin the fronts or alternatively create a recess by milling where the connecting rails can be inserted. Therefore, the recommendation is clearly for a single front.

Yes, normally the front only has a few millimeters distance from the dishwasher.

But if the fastenings of the dishwasher were next to the connecting rail, you could reinforce the front in this area by the thickness of the rail accordingly, and it would fit again. Or is there something against that? If yes, what exactly?

If the fastenings of the dishwasher were exactly on the connecting rail, the area around the fastening could possibly be underlaid so that it can be fastened securely, and it would fit again. Or is there something against that? If yes, what exactly?

Sorry, I don’t want to sound annoying, I just want to understand why exactly it doesn’t work with the connecting rail.

Routing the rail would be one possibility, I have a router. But the routing would then have to be completely and above all permanently sealed so that nothing swells. What is best to use for that? Brush everything several times with D3 glue?

Dowel pins sounds generally good too, but what kind of pins do you use for that? I have already googled and found pictures, but unfortunately no sources or manufacturers...
