And how is that supposed to work on the upper floor then? We don't know it, but the location of the staircase also affects the room in the north as well as in the west. There is definitely a lack of dimensions and the upper floor for more constructive criticism here.

There is no plan of the [OG] so far. The shift is about 0.5-1m. No more. And accordingly, the bathroom would be narrower or correspondingly a little longer.

I quite like it, only the [OG] is missing - unclear to me how there can be a [EG] without an [OG] - but okay
Your idea doesn’t sound so bad at first - however, without measurements and [OG] there are no cookies.

The "shift" is also just an option. For now, I am only concerned with the floor plan and the placement on the floor plan. In my opinion, the ground floor must first and foremost fit, and the upper floor must adapt to it.

However, I am still not sure about the orientation. Whether this orientation (gable in southwest-northeast orientation) or gable in southeast-northwest is better.

From my own experience: no. Starting with the sewage pipes, through the views to the room layout and space requirements, it cannot be done in isolation – at least not well. What I wouldn’t like so much would be the terrace in the east between the garage and the house wall. Even if you sit on the west side by the street, I think I would place the garage in the east (next to the neighbor’s garage) – ultimately probably a matter of taste.

Of course it is not possible to separate the EG and OG. But the EG is simply much more important to me in this regard, so the OG has to take a back seat.

Having the own garage next to the neighbor's garage was also considered. But I don't like that at all, it is then completely in the south and blocks the sun.
