Because it somehow looks "odd" when the gable is on the short side. Then the eaves side would face the southwest garden? And the children's rooms are supposed to be there. There will be two full floors anyway, so double casement windows are not planned.

Gable roofs I always see only lengthwise to the house. Even with a square house, it looks odd; I can hardly imagine the gable being perpendicular to the house.

No, the short side of the house is southwest... and the gable is there.

2 full stories? Precisely then I would plan the ground floor and upper floor as one unit, because a cuboid without projections or recesses looks very uncharming and then has nothing to do with a "house."

What do you mean by that?

Then it's like the floor plan from my architect. Only that the stairs will be moved to make the living area bigger. And the garage moved to the back.
Gable side then in the southwest garden and street northeast. Eaves sides then garage and neighboring garage.
Because I understood that the house will be rotated

Do you mean it something like this with 2 different bathroom variants? The garage is still unchanged

With the shifted living room wall, you now have to walk around the kitchen to get into it. How about a kitchen door? Also, I would position the stairs the other way around. Then you have underneath ..... Uh .... Hmm... Are you building with a basement?
