House exterior color design / color coordination - experiences?

How are the windows?

The windows are white... in hindsight, I might have chosen a light gray, similar to the windowsills... but oh well, it matches the red and the plaster...
it's definitely much harder to find a good combination, but then it doesn't look so sterile.
I also don't know why everyone is into this white/anthracite?
Because it's simple?

We somehow have it easier there. I am an absolute fan of orange. When I saw the roof tiles at our builder, a Mediterranean orange-red tile immediately caught my eye. When the builder then offered me that tile at the price of the standard tiles, the decision was clear. The facade will also get a matching shade of orange.

In any case, I am happily learning here, the time of gray on gray is coming to an end. If then also the rock garden dies and green rises again, all the better.
