And for some, it is already a value in itself to swim against the current.
This is how, for example, the hipster movement started, only to turn into the opposite...
On the topic: We would have liked to choose a color other than traffic white (similar). But apart from an estimated 3-4 thousand EUR additional cost. A window would probably have been possible afterwards, but now I have settled on simply painting colored frames around the windows. Probably green-gray or something, that is still under negotiation with my wife.
We originally wanted roof tiles in green. Braas no longer manufactures them. The alternatives from Benders were somehow not fully satisfying, or the wife and child could not agree on a color. The shape I preferred (double S) was not available there at all.
So now we chose Braas after all and the Harzer Pfanne in slate gray (so ultimately probably anthracite).
I’m already curious how it will look when finished.
We are also still negotiating about the front door. I would just take white or light gray or something like that here too. My wife wants dusty pink.
For us, the whole thing was definitely very price-driven, otherwise we would probably have a light green pastel facade and bright red (or something) windows.
