Maybe check more whether you are rather brave or cautious people. If you are braver, then I would drive less through classic new development areas, there you will probably find mostly mainstream. Personally, I would rather advise you to be more courageous, to choose a nice, also strong color. In my opinion, a front door can be chosen completely independently of the rest anyway. Yesterday, for example, I saw an orange front door while walking, which would never have occurred to me. But that looked really good.

Thank you for all the opinions :)

Yes, we would basically be open to a "non-mainstream" combination...
But first, you have to come up with a cool color combo ;-)

I took a RAL gray dark gray according to my taste because there were only 7 RAL colors to choose from. Honestly, I didn't care about my roof tiles, as long as they were dark gray ... everything else was available in RAL, so what?! We didn't make a state affair out of it - it's about our taste, not someone else's.

I'm sure you probably have one or two shades you prefer over others, like blue or red, for example.
For instance, I've seen really beautiful houses with a nice red or a cool blue... whatever it is, if you don't prefer any particular shades, then you could just choose any.
Once you seriously decide on a color, you'll also find beautiful and suitable combinations online.
Of course, it often has something to do with costs as well; I'd rather spend that on the interior anyway.

Front doors can always use a different color when windows are neutral white, gray, or wood-toned. We see shell constructions in our surroundings with dark window frames and white window sashes: it looks incredibly cheap. I don’t know what got into the builders.

Don’t make such a big deal out of it. Take out the color fan, tightly close one eye, hold the color fan up to the facade and choose. Then hope and pray that it fits.
