House exterior color design / color coordination - experiences?

The outdoor area should not be forgotten.
Brick and casement windows do not really fit with the Asian Zen garden.
On the other hand, a white house with anthracite can become individual through the outdoor area.

Before it gets too detailed. Different substrate, different material, different coating process, and the same RAL color tone can appear differently. Already at noon the window frame, the door, and the garage door look like three different shades.

But this isn’t about beauty or whatever at all. It’s about how the color palette was put together.

Yes, I understand that. I also wanted to express that the color alone or the possibly too high additional costs don’t necessarily lead to a "bad" result for me. You can tastefully bring white, gray, or red into harmony that is also legally permitted and affordable for me. Maybe we were talking past each other a bit there_oO
I myself am also quite limited and look for help with that. I find what I found online about 101 exciting color combinations for your designs quite nice.....at least it helps me to get a somewhat better feeling for matching colors.

I may be underestimating the limitations imposed on general contractors and developers by the builders.

At least in our case, it was not a limitation of the GC but of the window guys. They simply don't want to, so the rule is "take it or leave it."

I recommend a fresh stone gray ;-) and am currently pondering the unfortunate nonconformist who went through the trouble of painting a Swedish house in British Racing Green and has all red-green colorblind neighbors who don’t even notice *LOL*

And for some, it is already a value in itself to swim against the current.
That’s how, for example, the hipster movement started, only to turn into the opposite...

Oh, I had almost forgotten the poppers as a counter-counter-movement to the punks ;-)
