So we built a chimney with fireclay ... not some Swedish stove because you would melt away with that ..

We have an air-water heat pump and I was happy to be able to quickly warm up the living room in the evening during the transitional period ...

The problem is that you actually can't compare it.
If I want to make the numbers look good, I look at Check24, and see heat pump electricity at 18 cents/kWh; with a COP of 4.5, that's 4 cents/kWh. Gas costs 5.8 cents/kWh. But I come out cheaper if I run everything on household electricity, Check24: 26 cents/kWh; with a COP of 4.5, that's 5.8 cents/kWh... and this is just one point among many.

Yep.....as I said, maybe one day, looks nice on camera (filming for cooking videos takes place in the living area).

So something is wrong with you guys. We have an air-to-water heat pump with underfloor heating, in the bathroom it’s a cozy 24 degrees without any additional electric heating, same in the living room. The rest of the house is at 22 degrees. I don’t know how more comfort would be possible. No one is cold, in the transitional period it’s often too warm in the evening (living room 26 degrees) due to the sunlight during the day. And that without excessively high heating costs or a lot of work with the wood.

What maintenance intervals for heat pumps are recommended?

It is advisable to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, although these are not mandatory. For the majority of devices, manufacturers recommend inspections and maintenance every two years. However, an annual inspection of the refrigerant circuit for leaks is mandatory if the heat pump contains more than three kilograms of refrigerant.

Low maintenance costs

The relatively low maintenance effort for heat pumps naturally results in low maintenance costs. Annual maintenance costs usually amount to less than 100 euros per year.

These costs apply for the maintenance of a gas condensing boiler:

Heating maintenance in a single-family home usually costs between 70 and 100 EUR in total, provided there are no repairs or replacement parts. The price increases accordingly if the specialist has to travel long distances.

Thus, both are absolutely comparable. Of course, with the gas boiler, the chimney sweep also comes every two years.
