The rooms themselves are as warm as usual. It took a while to set the summer mode with temperature and hysteresis so that it fit, now we have a good compromise between the rooms not being colder than usual and the heating no longer having to run all the time. If it gets cold for you too quickly, you should adjust the settings a bit.

I just don't like tempering instead of heating that much.... but to each their own...

Regarding the original topic, I also think that air-to-water heat pumps are often quite noisy.... when I imagine everyone putting one of those things on 440 sqm, I don't think that's great... ours is super quiet but I've seen and heard quite different ones... I don't want to hear that thing myself and also don't want any trouble with the neighbor....

Then your heating might possibly turn off a bit later. You have to feel your way in. It should heat when necessary. As for the noise, well, we were only offered heat pumps for indoor installation. The heat pump operates in the utility room and doesn't bother anyone.

Indoor installation was out of the question for me, I had heard that you could have humming noise etc. in the house ... but well, if that's not the case with you ...

This statement may apply to people who have to buy firewood. Owning a forest makes the cost balance very favorable. In addition, the efficiency depends greatly on the system. Wood gasifier? Basic stove? Scandinavian stove? Fireplace stove? ...

I'll summarize something. Oven etc. only nice to have for some. Air-water heat pump. by now proven technology. Relatively high space requirement in the utility room. No solar thermal needed. No gas connection needed. In conjunction with FHZ and with correct design, good heating performance at low costs. Relatively expensive to purchase, not as durable as gas boiler. Gas. There must be a gas connection. It is not free, but possibly subsidized. Proven technology, little space requirement, good heating performance even if the system is not perfectly planned, easy to maintain, durable, inexpensive in investment, but more expensive in operation, solar thermal needed as an additional cost, fossil energy that produces CO2.
