With us, the drilling alone, commissioned separately as you suggest, would have cost 15,000 euros. Unfortunately, the BAFA does not help me with that.

Therefore, you should not generally assume that what is best for you is the best for everyone.

Wasn't my second sentence that it depends on the local conditions?
That was a reaction to your generalizing statement.

Good evening everyone, this is now my first post in this highly interesting forum and I hope you can at least shed some light on the darkness for us. We started our house construction project yesterday and will mainly manage it with the help of good acquaintances and a related site manager. Now we are facing the difficult question of which heating system we want to choose for our house. We are being recommended a gas system with solar, but we would like to use renewable energies in the form of an air-water heat pump with photovoltaics. However, the local heating installer advises against this and repeatedly refers to the simpler and safer gas heating. We know that you can't generally say which heating system is the best, but is there fundamentally so much against an air-water heat pump? Of course, it is a matter of money and we would probably also rent/lease the photovoltaic system. What are your experiences and what would you tend to? We would be very happy about your answers.

Have you read the previous posts? The best heating system is the one that suits you and your construction project best. Every heating system has advantages and disadvantages. My suggestion would be that you read up and then possibly come back with detailed questions. My recommendation regarding your direct contacts and advisors: don’t be distracted, inform yourself, and then carry out your concept. You will then implement it with someone who also knows the respective technology. Our site managers, craftsmen, etc. all had their own opinions.

One thing is already clear: this installer should not install an air-water heat pump for you. He rejects these things, he will have little experience with them, will not attend any training in this regard, etc. An air-water heat pump is somewhat more complicated if it is supposed to heat cheaply, that is, without too high power consumption. Why. Is stated earlier. K.
