Absolutely..

…by the district chimney sweep. He is the master of the stoves. Nothing works without him.
But he has nothing to do with aesthetics. And if the flue is where planned, then it doesn’t look nice because it must, as far as I know, protrude above the ridge.

Happy Good Friday everyone,

we will move the fireplace to the other side. This way, the chimney will exit on the gable side. In addition, we have adjusted the windows again (among other things, the corner windows are gone):

The house we used as the basis for the floor plan also appeals to us from the outside:

Our views would be:

North

West: We need a dormer because otherwise, when climbing onto the roof, you would hit your head due to the position of the stairs. The roof is intended to serve as a development reserve. Unfortunately, I was not able to include the dormer windows in the program.

South: We have omitted a window in the dressing room

East

We are looking forward to your feedback. Maybe you have further optimization suggestions.

Very good.

The south side looks like a face with a missing tooth :(
Why are you talking about panoramic windows if you are planning a strip window? The living room could really use a floor-to-ceiling window. Otherwise, you might as well plan the room in the basement. The apartment is too nice for that.

Then the house is poorly planned if you have to add a dormer to the roof just to be able to use the staircase as it is.
I'm out of here for now.

Haha gap in the teeth fits quite well! :D Unfortunately, we won’t come up with an alternative. Too bad, it had been constructive so far. Calling the whole house a misplanning because of a dormer... don’t know. Yes: We actually never intended to build a dormer! However, we have experienced that planning is as complex as a long equation dependent on many variables. In our experience, you cannot insert every desired variable into the equation. The result counts in the end. Here and there you have to make compromises. Therefore, the switch from: "Awesome ground floor" + upper floor to misplanning is too harsh for me. But well, your opinion. Still, thanks for the feedback, which we have gratefully accepted so far.

Which model is it? If you mean the dormer that miraculously only exists on the eaves-side view: I think you are planning something that hasn't fully arrived in your own spatial imagination yet. Show a floor plan of the attic (and especially where there is supposed to be expansion potential). Was the basement discarded again?

The "attic" has a large knee wall in the design. Two floors are being discussed here, although 4 floors are planned.
