West: We need a dormer because otherwise, when climbing onto the roof, you would hit your head due to the position of the stairs. The roof is intended to serve as a development reserve. Unfortunately, I was not able to include the dormer windows in the program.

Why are you talking about panoramic windows if you are planning a strip window? The living room could really use a floor-to-ceiling window. Otherwise, you might as well plan the room in the basement. The apartment is too nice for that.

Calling the whole house a misplanning because of a dormer... don’t know. Yes: We actually never intended to build a dormer! However, we have experienced that planning is as complex as a long equation dependent on many variables. In our experience, you cannot insert every desired variable into the equation. The result counts in the end. Here and there you have to make compromises. Therefore, the switch from: "Awesome ground floor" + upper floor to misplanning is too harsh for me. But well, your opinion. Still, thanks for the feedback, which we have gratefully accepted so far.

If you mean the dormer that miraculously only exists on the eaves-side view: I think you are planning something that hasn't fully arrived in your own spatial imagination yet. Show a floor plan of the attic (and especially where there is supposed to be expansion potential). Was the basement discarded again?

The "attic" has a large knee wall in the design. Two floors are being discussed here, although 4 floors are planned.
