This is how I quickly planned it. It can definitely be done much more effectively and with fewer tiles on the walls. In the children's bathroom, a skylight with a parapet height of 2.00m. The windows should still be optimized.

Thank you very much for your input. Take a look at our post #56: Originally, we had planned a children's bathroom, which was the larger one because we wanted to do the laundry there. Currently, we have planned one larger bathroom for everyone, with access from the bedroom and an additional shower in the guest WC on the ground floor.

Question to the group: Theoretically, it should be possible to design a staircase leading to the attic steeper than the staircase from the ground floor to the upper floor, right? The staircase on the ground floor will be a concrete staircase, whereas the staircase to the attic is to be made of wood or steel.

Background: On the ground floor, we have enough space to make the staircase longer or more comfortable. However, if we transfer this staircase one-to-one to the attic, there are space problems due to the roof slope.

Yes! Why not: staircase dimensions are not set in stone – it's all about comfort.

Answer from the bracket *SCNR* yes, that is possible (provided the staircase "stops earlier" - "starting later" does not work like that; conversely, going down from the ground floor to the basement obviously works the other way around).
