Then I would extend the ledge all the way to the garage. That can't be more expensive than masonry these little corners. And I can't imagine that this recess is such a visual gain in terms of facade articulation.
I think it's pretty cool. I would swap the guest WC and the storage room so that the WC is further away from the open dining area. Also, the bedroom would get a door. ;)
What I would really miss is a bathtub.
Um... yes, a door to the bedroom would indeed be a good idea :)
We also considered swapping the WC and storage room but dismissed it again because the WC door would then leave no space for the wardrobe next to the front door. However, the solution would be to make the guest WC a few centimeters wider and the storage room narrower. It should still work:
Is north at the top? Unfortunately, I don’t understand the floor plans in their orientation.
Let me put it this way: the street is at the bottom of the plan, and on the website of Kataloghaus-Inspiration the orientation is in landscape format. Otherwise, has essentially rotated and spiralized the staircase compared to the original, but structurally changed little else. I won’t elaborate again today on how beneficial copying model houses is.

In plain English: An experienced floor plan adapted to your own needs with a specific measure so that it still works. By the way, we also managed to create a passage to the kitchen, which was not the case in the model house (as it had no basement).
Maybe someone has an idea how we could design the bathrooms? So far, we are not satisfied with our solutions. The following should be accommodated:
- If possible, a wide and long shower niche in the master bathroom
- A kind of washbasin with a washing machine and dryer (yes, for many it's a no-go to have a kind of utility room in the bathroom, but for us it's okay and desired)
- Double washbasin not necessary
