I also like the floor plan. The storage room on the ground floor will be gladly used (shoes, vacuum cleaner, beverage supplies ...). However, one can also reduce this storage room in favor of a representative and spacious entrance area (with wardrobe).

The storage room on the upper floor can be removed without replacement, then you get a nice hallway with light.

Please take a look at the incline of the stairs. They seem rather steep to me, that should be checked.

I also have little to complain about
However, at first glance, the kitchen layout bothered me and I got stuck on it mentally. I don’t like the tall cabinets at the very end. You can’t quickly take the chicken out of the oven and put it back in again or turn the fries. Take the tray out and put it on the island, then head towards the sink... somehow that doesn’t sit right with me. And now I even see that this passageway is pretty narrow. The fridge will certainly go in the corner there...
Even though the kitchen is very likely a placeholder, I can’t think of anything better off the bat either...
Unfortunately, the kitchen is very narrow... We actually consider the size of the utility room as a freezer/utility room, all in all you have a basement for the office...
There is too much room on the left side of the plan, too little room on the right side (kitchen). Then there is the basement stairs that go from the living room. Taking a bike or garden furniture down relaxed is not an option. And when the kids grow up with party room and friends, they have to go through the living room as well

Why the basement instead of more living space on the ground and upper floors without a basement???

So, here is my kitchen proposal as hinted.

The window at the bottom of the plan is narrower, with a sill height of about 120 cm ... then elevated dishwashers and cabinets can stand under the window. Possibly even continuous at 120 cm height .. This is also called a secondary storage area. Here, KVA, coffee machines, etc. have plenty of space. Ovens, DGC, etc. can be integrated here.

At the top left of the plan in the kitchen is the fridge .. it could also be very well a stand-alone. It is equally accessible from the dining area, terrace, cooking line, and preparation island.

On the left side of the plan is the cooking line made up of 3x90 cm base cabinets and in the middle the sink island, which has a 40 cm overhang to the right and at that wall section a bench with a seat height of about 63 cm.

-------------
From the living area, I would close the stairwell to the basement with a wall and at the cooking/dining transition then put a door that gives access to the basement stairs.

------------
The utility room could be smaller ... that's actually the room for vacuum cleaners, mops, shoes, scarves, hats, shopping bags, etc. and to make the entrance area a bit more spacious.

In the ground floor shower, the shower will probably go across the entire room width and only have a partition like the one drawn in orange .. either built or glass --- right?

Thank you very much for the very constructive criticism. I like the idea from Kbt09 of how the storage room can be expanded in favor of the hallway. We would probably swap the closet and the rod there and "brick in" a closet from a large Swedish furniture store – so like a built-in closet. We would really like the shower on the ground floor to be walk-in... But it looks tight to me on the drawing. Or? It might be possible with the larger hallway to also shift the left wall of the bathroom a bit. The kitchen is really still mainly a placeholder so far. The idea of making the entrance to the basement stairs from the kitchen is interesting. What exactly made you decide to draw it that way? If possible, we would also like a sliding door there. Laundry chute in the hallway is great. We would leave out the storage room upstairs. Maybe even put double skylights there so the hallway is really bright.

We need to ask the architect about the steepness of the stairs. As a layman, I can't say anything about that. I can imagine that it is as steep as possible because the house is short. It is indeed the case that the office was the deciding factor in building a basement. Unfortunately, the plot is really not very large, but in this area it was already very difficult to obtain and afford. We haven't thought about a larger solar system yet, so the chimney on the south side doesn't bother us.
