Thumbs up

A lot has happened there.
Please check the furniture in the open-plan room. The sofa seems quite small to me and the furnishing a bit sparse. No shelf for books, no dresser?
I'm not sure if the utility room works like that. The building services are still added there, right? I would work with measurements and draw in the fuse box, house connections, technology, hot water

How long is the staircase?

The turning circle is available everywhere, right?

The staircase in the drawing is about 3.25m. However, that is only estimated/guesstimated by me. Overall, the staircase could also extend a bit towards the hallway, if I am not mistaken. Then there should actually still be enough space at the bottom for a lift or wheelchair. At least that was my thought at that point.

I didn’t measure the turning circle at every single spot, but we tried to take it into account everywhere.

Open space: A sofa bed is planned there, a small desk for the PC, and a small table for the sewing machine or similar. We would still need to acquire all the furniture. The sofa drawn in is 2m wide.

Living room: Our sofa is really quite small. The drawn furniture corresponds in size to the existing furniture. We actually don’t have many pieces of furniture and cabinets at the moment. A bookcase, which is located in the bottom left of the living room, and a small dresser that stands at the top right in the stairwell.

The utility room actually causes me the most headaches. Also, I find it hard to estimate how much space the technology requires. I would need to find measurements and draw in the systems.

For the staircase, you will still have to add about 1 meter so that it doesn't become a chicken ladder.

The utility room size is normally OK, but the shape makes it difficult. The door to the garage extension doesn't make it easier. I would skip the door to the garage.

You could take a bit from the bedroom and still place two wardrobes.

The cooking/living area wouldn't be for me. I find it lacking in size. Unfortunately, I have no idea about that.

Thank you for your feedback. I removed the door between the garage and the "Hinterzimmer" right away. Without a door and instead with a wider passage, it is certainly more practical. We deliberately made the bedroom that large, or it resulted from the layout. If you consider a distance of 1.5m, which should be taken into account for a wheelchair, there is not much left that could be reduced.

I would place the guest room upstairs. The space would benefit the living area and a little more space in the utility room wouldn’t hurt. The L-shape makes it difficult. Washer/dryer and some storage should be arranged so that your wife can also access it with a walker. Paint the door to the garage. Straight staircase requires 4 m length.

By the way, I also wanted a sewing table, but it is crossed out. I find the dining table optimal. Large, especially when cutting, nice view into the garden or living area
