Well, replacing the staircase is not that simple. The bathroom on the upper floor would then be under the sloping roof, just take a look at the 2m line. ... have you ever seen a cross-section of the house plan? The staircase might also become a bit tight.

I once learned that you have to keep a distance of 35m from a cemetery. Here I don't even see the standard distance of 3m being maintained on the east side. Do you have a special permit for that? With the bathroom on the upper floor, Kerstin is of course right. It slides under the slope. Maybe here a dormer could still turn things around.

Is the 2 full floors a much more expensive option? Think of the expensive furniture on the upper floor, dormer windows...

The answer lies in the max. eaves height.

… or heard? That doesn’t necessarily have to be a bad thing. It often benefits the standard to change things and thereby create something individual. However, a lot can also be ruined. The location of the stairs is often crucial, secondly the roof slopes have to cooperate. It’s nice when the children have bright rooms. … Show us the standard floor plan from the architect. Is the architect employed by the general contractor? And then tell us what you didn’t like. You don’t really write what your needs are. I don’t like it at all. Yes, the hallway may be quirky. But that could still be more tolerable if the rest fits. Utility room and stairs (or swapped with the WC) are located in the best position among the secondary rooms. Does the kitchen have an exit? I only see an exit to the terrace in the north (in front of the creepy cemetery)… instead of opening the house to the garden. You stand in the rather small living room, unfortunately the bay window can’t be seen by anyone. Children’s rooms in the north, well, you look at the rest with suspicion yourself. How big is it supposed to be overall? How much budget do you have?
