Bathing for the first time under one year of age naturally leads to crying. Eventually, she will enjoy it, and honestly: that's great and at the same time practical when a child gets to experience the element of water through bathing.

Kitchen: With a width of 2.85 RBM, I see four 60 cm units and a 30 cm filler. With that, I don't see space for 2 tall cabinets plus stove plus counter space on the left and right plus storage space for all the stuff that needs storage space. I see the kitchen as absolutely needing revision, possibly even rotated 90 degrees. My humble housewife opinion :)

I wonder about the purpose of a normally 113 cm wide front door, if you can't get any further afterwards: thanks to the 85 cm "wide" sliding door, the sofa etc. comes in through the garden :-(

As you can see with you: in my childhood there was a phase when the Lego ship absolutely had to bathe with me. I was the captain in my bathtub ;-)

I feel the same. But that is the advantage of more than one bathroom, that you can separate showering (bath) and bathing (tub).

With 228m² of land area including house and garage, I would still be interested in the site plan showing how everything is arranged.

Unfortunately, while flipping through the LEGO catalog, I had to realize that the ships today are no longer seaworthy :-( . Luckily, my daughter can still play with my old Legos ;-) .

So I find the kitchen layout very unfortunate, as I would be missing workspace (and certainly also storage space in the cabinets). I would reconsider that. The entrance situation, however, I find even worse. Where is a wardrobe supposed to go? You could literally step on your own feet there :(

So many interesting answers again!!! Thank you very much! But I am a bit stubborn about one thing... my kitchen. We spent a long time planning it and incorporated all our wishes and workflows. There is more than enough storage space; we calculated in advance what is needed. The peninsula is 2m by 1.20m and has normally deep cabinets with pull-outs on both sides. Since, apart from the sink without a draining board, there is nothing on the countertop, I also have more than enough workspace. I am very grateful for the suggestions, but the kitchen stays.

However, I completely agree with you about the hallway! I really don’t like the width of 1.45m at all. Unfortunately, the house is „only“ a semi-detached house, and as much as we have often wanted to convert it into a spacious detached house, it remains just 6 meters wide. But if anyone has a good idea to redesign the hallway, I am very interested! I have already played around with the idea of moving the guest toilet to the stairwell. It wouldn’t have a window anymore, but that is bearable for the room, and then you would have the cloakroom area directly at the entrance. Do you understand what I mean?

On the topic of shower vs. bathtub. Our little one plays wonderfully during showers. She wears stopper socks and can run around and water her toys on the tiles, the walls, or our feet with her watering can. For the first few weeks, she was bathed in the large kitchen sink, and after that, we switched straight to showering. But the bathtub topic will be discussed again.
