That is of course also a suggestion, but I really want to keep the kitchen as planned. We love cooking, but due to work and the fact that the little one eats warm meals at daycare, we only really cook on weekends. For the holidays and the few times a year when we cook more elaborately, a normally sized kitchen is definitely enough for us.

In the remaining area, our dining table (currently 160x90) should still fit, non-extendable. Although at some point in the future we would also like to buy an extendable one. TV and L-sofa should also fit. Where the TV should go seems to change almost daily. Currently my favorite is to use the short wall at the staircase and place the sofa with the long side along the house wall towards the neighboring house and the short side facing the terrace. Dining table then on the plan to the left, next to the kitchen.

The layout of the bathrooms wouldn't be my thing. You come in and almost trip over the sink. Everything is very tight. It’s hardly different in the attic. But upstairs, the huge shower wouldn't be worth it to me.

How about a mini-T in the bathroom on the first floor? I would reduce the shower to 1.60m in length and 90cm in width. You can move around well in there. I would find that absolutely sufficient.
Instead, put the sink on the other side and you save the extra console on the left side of the plan, which reduces the room size.

That way you enter the room without bumping into the sink, have 1m of space between the sink and the wall, and the arrangement regarding pipes etc. has hardly changed. However, I don't know if the supply and drain pipes of the sink fit into a 10cm wall.

He should better read along directly here - if partners only get snippets of the discussion, it usually prolongs a thread without it really progressing.

The keyboard is too small, "wa" instead of "es" are the keys directly next to each other.

So, the husband was also sent the link to the thread! Just beforehand: He thinks the idea with the bathroom is very nice! Back then, we just talked about the shower with the architect hastily without having any clue! By making it smaller, we can also use the somewhat cheaper flat shower tray again and don’t have to reckon with a walk-in shower! You have to be able to save a bit somewhere. However, I have one question about the small T. What kind of splash guard should I put there? I don’t want a shower curtain and the glass would have to be foldable. My part was to create as few potential places for dirt as possible. Are there any ideas from you that have already proven themselves?

I would plan a sliding door. It would have to be inward running. Whether and who has something like that - no idea. A folding door would probably also work. It might look something like this:

As I said, whether the connections will work - first ask a planner. These are always amateur ideas here... please don't forget.
