No basement possible due to peat soil and groundwater problems.
But you have an attic – you wouldn’t have that with a city villa!
Personal price limit for the house, including equipment: 550k
yes, oops.
If you calculate with the typical 3000€ per sqm, you’d be at 600,000€.
True. However, I also don’t see 200 sqm, since there are only 3/4 upstairs. Right? How many sqm is that?
According to the architect, it’s not necessary
Right! But for the architect, the budget might play a role. In which federal state is it being built?
Everything looks very cramped or maybe it’s deceiving.
I have the same feeling. I find the room layout on the ground floor very arbitrary, don’t know if I would personally like it. Actually, I know, for example, the kitchen here is insufficient. I once estimated: in our holiday mobile home, almost 40 sqm, we had about the same size kitchen, slightly smaller, which of course is not enough for everyday use. I’m talking about two people. For five, I would plan about twice as much cupboard space, and then please with daylight windows. And then there’s the unnecessary alcove of the wardrobe, a recess in cupboard depth would be enough. Swap pantry with office? Utility room in a more defensive position? Where do you want to have the barbecue evenings? The kitchen should also have its place there. There is still a lot of potential overall. The south window should also be somewhat enlarged.
conservative or modern style: modern open kitchen, kitchen island: closed kitchen
Yeah, which is it now?
We are considering enlarging the office and moving the technology to the utility room and leaving out the wardrobe because the utility room is currently not well designed.
Removing the wardrobe without replacement is not a good idea!
According to the architect, we don’t need an entrance platform.
But that’s nicer! What do you want?
It will definitely be very warm upstairs in the attic in summer, right?
Why should it be warm there? A cheer for thermal insulation, nothing gets warm except through the windows.
You’re right about the bedroom. What would be a sensible solution there?
AB has to go. Then the bed under the sloping roof.
