I have only categorized that a kitchen counter or seating area does not have to be designed for the entire family. I still do not find your kitchen planning itself good.

However, the kitchen/living area is completely open and feels not very homely. My question would also be whether the drawn furniture is really to scale?? Then why isn't it included in the current plan? Do you need it or not? If not, then get rid of it or do you want to change that during the construction phase? This storage room seems completely out of place, especially when I see the unnecessarily cramped bedroom and the still carelessly planned bathroom. You definitely wanted a large shower, so where is it? Oh dear...... with a small, almost overlooked side note, you mention something that completely changes the planning/use and also has a major impact on the price. How exactly should this separation be? Separate entrance? House connections, double meters, TV, telephone, electricity, and who knows what else—that's something completely different then? I'm stunned...... does your architect know this? I don't think so, because you can't see anything of that.

If necessary, you should let the planning and also yourself mature a bit. But it may also be that you cannot write what you want. Sometimes it’s the 5 dining places in the kitchen, then you settle for 3. You are advised to have a separate dining area, later you complain about loud appliances inside the kitchen. In the end, you rack your brains over the kitchen planning, on the other hand everything is great and doesn’t need to be changed.
To me, it all seems as colorful as Lego bricks. The thought processes also change, like how the arrangement of the bricks can change.
The shifted bay window regarding the gable is the crowning touch.
And a division into two official living areas is also not possible here. But I must say, everything is very well optimized and close to the desired ideas. Chapeau, you rarely see this done so well here!

Sometimes I wish there was a yawn button.
This really is the evergreen among running gags. When incorrigible defenders of their dream botched designs are repeatedly caught in their considerable mediocrity, this ultimate punchline reliably follows (to the sound of a thrilling drumroll): "and anyway, you don’t even know the best part yet, it’s supposed to be a two-family house later on." Ta-da, ta-da, ta-da – Narhalla march.

I regularly wonder as a reader whether there isn’t trolling going on here. My brain as a newcomer to NW is overweight on the rational side, and some things lie beyond my horizon. That’s why, apart from a few exceptions, I’m also not involved in the floor plan discussions. Although I often have opinions and suggestions. (By the way, is it normal that I can walk through a floor plan in the form of a 3-D model in my head and then mostly think: Oh, no!)?

If you can do that, it is in many cases unavoidable to come to this conclusion.

But it’s not trolling, rather selective perception: some original posters only read answers that resonate with their frequency. If the "question" is phrased as: "please find all our design great" or "please say where it can still be improved" (in the sense of "improve" implying something is at least good in principle), then responses with the tenor "quickly toss the design in the bin" are discarded as "off-topic" regardless of the reasoning. Questioners seeking confirmation do not perceive warnings. Sometimes the resistance to advice even "learns" and then mutates into multi-resistance to advice.

I find abstentions by people who could contribute reasonable discussion posts very regrettable. I also like to help the lurkers in cases where the "actual questioners" shine with "ears turned off." In this metastasizing thread, I find trolling to be the endless new aspects that should already have been mentioned in the opening post. Underweight on the rational side can happen sometimes; after all, for many prospective builders, the home is a romantic-emotional topic.
