Hello everyone,

we are currently planning the living and dining area of our condominium. Construction has not yet started and we have freedom regarding connections and the placement of the kitchen.

The layout of the room is somewhat challenging and I am not sure if we are going in the right direction with the basic planning. We would therefore greatly appreciate tips on how we could design/divide the space.

The room must include: kitchen, dining table, sofa + projector or TV.

Notes on the planning:
- The screen in the middle should be attached to the ceiling and only lowered when watching movies
- The table should be pushed all the way to the wall in the normal state and only moved further into the room when there are many guests to accommodate more people on the bench. (I have attached one version for 8 people and one version for 6 people)

Do you have any other ideas to make optimal use of the room? The kitchen island is not necessarily a must, but due to the pillar, the use of the room is quite limited in my opinion.

Best regards and thanks for your help

Oh, that's why you're still dreaming of millimeter-precise execution (?) Oh, a bungalow?

A few visible walls would be really helpful - your contrast drawing is barely visible. It would also be helpful to know where the [Leitungs-Schächte] are located and where the balcony exit is. Are the passages doors? Where do they lead? The question is whether you have to weave around the table 20 times a day in the room or not.

Sorry, I didn't choose the dimensions like that intentionally. That is the standard dimensioning in Visio.

For me, it's generally more about the basic layout of the room.

Regards and thanks

Sorry for the poor quality. It is really hard to see, but the thin solid lines are the walls. I don’t have software to plan it properly yet (Do you have a tip for software?). On the right it goes into the bedrooms and office, and on the left is the bathroom with toilet and apartment entrance.

The wide window front is the exit to the terrace. The almost 4 meters are fully glazed. It will probably be a sliding door.
