hm... normally I don’t give such harsh criticism, but I really don’t like the floor plan at all. The living room is really a no-go. If you have two kids and they maybe have friends over and keep running into the kitchen while you’re sitting in front of the TV... well, you can imagine the rest. With 27 meters of plot width, I would first detach the garage from the house and place it at least (!) 3 meters away. Then you can move the living room to the far right and give it plenty of windows. That way, the west sun will work as well. The utility room can be placed in the middle, which wouldn’t be a bad idea for a bungalow. Possibly illuminated/ventilated from above. If you have a controlled residential ventilation system, it can work without windows (I have it too, zero problem). Is the garage included in the 250,000? That could really get tight.
That’s fine too, but a kids’ room facing northeast towards the street isn’t great.
I don’t understand, why would he then shower in the guest WC? But with two kids a second shower does make sense.
And where do you work then once you have kids?
What’s the purpose of that “hallway” over the guest WC? Maybe space for a wardrobe? The one to the left of the front door is a bit tight for four people. But I would get rid of the hallway and instead make the guest WC longer and narrower. That creates more space in the entrance area. Additional wardrobe space can then go on the right side of the front door against the WC wall.
It was/is important to us to separate the children’s area from the parents’ area

Guest WC with shower, because my husband sometimes has to do emergency service and might need to shower.

Family use or home office? : HO
