Heat pump is not compatible with a water-bearing fireplace

According to which standard was the house built? We were advised against a water-based fireplace from all sides in our house. The combination of underfloor heating, heat pump, and water-based fireplace is "difficult to control" and comments like "pearls before swine in a low-energy house" were made. Nevertheless, we have pre-installed all the pipes but will move in without the fireplace first and wait 2-3 years. We ultimately thought that going "all-in" is harder to reverse than upgrading. We have sand-lime brick plus 20 cm insulation and triple-glazed windows if that’s what you mean?

What does the energy certificate say?


The connection diagram only shows the scheme of domestic hot water generation. That has zero influence on the room temperatures.

Nevertheless, of course, if the stove cannot transport the heat away, it will of course get very warm in the room where it is located. With the new connection scheme, it manages to do so and heats the domestic hot water.

We do not have an energy certificate…
